Pennsylvanians Against Fracking – Individual Sign – On Form

Join the movement for a time out on fracking!

Pennsylvanians Against Fracking is a broad, statewide coalition of Pennsylvania organizations and residents in support of stopping fracking through a statewide moratorium.

We recognize the damage caused to our land, air, water and communities by fracking:

Between 2008 and 20012, the drilling industry violated Pennsylvania's environmental laws more than 4,500 times. Federal and state regulators have failed to adequately document the level of harm done to the residents of Pennsylvania. The independently curated list of the Harmed, which documents the negative effects of fracking, list over 400 impacted families around Pennsylvania.

In 2013 an independent review of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) records showed that oil and gas development has already damaged the water supplies for 209 homes, farms, churches and businesses.

We seek a statewide halt, or moratorium, on hydraulic fracturing and associated infrastructure that would require comprehensive studies of environmental, health, and safety impacts on these practices and demonstrated evidence that fracking can be done safely.
